Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 2022-13, known as the Zoning Bylaw.  https://rmlajord.ca/pub/public-notice---zoning-bylaw-amendment---september-16-2025.pdf

INTENT:

To amend the Zoning Bylaw by:

1. Rezone all those portions of Proposed Parcels D and E, in the Hamlet of Gray, as per the Plan of Proposed Subdivision by 20/20 Geomatics dated July 8^th, 2025, from Agricultural District (A) to Hamlet District (H) as shown below.

2. Delete and replace the Zoning District Maps in Section 15.0 Zoning Districts Maps.

AFFECTED LANDS:

NE 18-14-18 W2 (Parcel D & E) within the Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128.

REASON:

To add parcels to the Hamlet of Gray boundaries as hamlet property.

PUBLIC INSPECTION:

Any person may inspect the bylaw at the Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128 office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, excluding statutory holidays.  Copies are available at cost.

PUBLIC HEARING:

Council will hold a Public Hearing on October 14, 2025, at 8:00 am at the RM Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw.  Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the Municipal Office before the hearing.
