The Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128 is now accepting applications for a seasonal equipment operator with duties to commence on April 1, 2021, with a possible extension to full-time.

Eligible applicants must possess a valid A1 Drivers License, along with the ability and knowledge to operate a wide range of municipal equipment.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Mowing Ditches
• Road Grading/Maintenance
• Road Construction
• Culvert, Sign Installation and Maintenance
• Equipment Maintenance and Repair
• Other Duties as Directed by the Foreman and Council

Salary will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.  The RM offers an excellent health and dental plan as well as a pension plan.  The qualified applicant will be excepted to join Teamsters Local Union No. 395 as an employee with the RM.
