Oyama Regional Park Status
Public notice is hereby given that the Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128 Council intends to apply to the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport to dissolve Oyama Regional Park as a regional park authority.
As the park has not been functioning as a regional park and has been operated as a private park for a number of years, it was time to address the status of the park.
The Park will remain open and continue to operate as it currently is with the Nicor Group managing the park on the RM’s behalf. There will be no changes to how the park is currently being run, the only change will be that the Park will no longer be a Regional Park.
Any person(s) who wish to object to the proposed change may attend a public hearing on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 9:00am or file a written objection, stating clearly their reason for their opposition, with the Administrator of the Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128 at the address below:
Box 33
Lajord, SK S0G 2V0
Fax: 306-781-1023
Email: rm128@sasktel.net
A written objection must be received by the Administrator by July 11, 2022 by 4:00pm.
Dated this 20th day of June, 2022
Lynette Herauf, Administrator
